Constitution Day Program, GT - September 17, 2020

Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020 12:00pm to 1:00pm - virtual program on celebrating the centennial of the 19th amendment to the Constitution. Guest speaker:  Jessica Vanlanduyt from the Atlanta History Center.

Jessica Vanlanduyt is Vice President of Guest Experiences at the Atlanta History Center and curated the exhibition Any Great Change: The Centennial of the 19th Amendment .

Monday, Sept. 17th -

   Booth at Student Center (near Auntie Anne's), 10:30-2:00; coordinated by Library and staffed by representatives of the GT Library, Enterprise Risk Management, and Office of Sponsored Research (OSP).

   Pocket Constitutions and mini flags were distributed.

Sept. 14, 2012 - WREK radio - "Lost in the Stacks" segment  theme - Voting Rights and the Constitution.  Dr. Thomas "Danny" Boston was the guest; professor in the GT School of Economics.  He began working for Civil Rights while inhigh school, and discussed Voting Rights issues for the 2012 election.
