Modern Languages

This guide is to help with your research and study of modern languages and linguistics.

The Georgia Tech Library has a core collection of books for Modern Languages, reference books including dictionaries, and primary and secondary source literature. Many publications are available online. Print books are available by request. Also, check out our foreign language DVDs and streaming media, as well as newspapers and periodicals from other countries.

Please contact me about individual or group consultations if you need further assistance with using these resources for your assignments and research.

All databases are accessible through the A-Z Databases page, which includes subject specific databases for Modern Languages.

When using most style formats, you will need to cite an article from a database differently than an article from a print publication. The Research/Writing/Citation Styles Guide will help you as you format your citations/bibliography.
