Standards

Accuris provides free indexing to over 1,000,000 documents from an extensive number of standards developing organizations. The database can be searched by number or keyword. Documents can be purchased by individuals for a fee. Accuris was originally founded as IHS Information Handling Services; later known as Markit and Global Engineering.

ANSI is not itself a standards developing organization. ANSI is a private, non-profit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standards and conformity assessment system.
