On this page, you will learn how to:
There are subtle but important differences between these functions.
Associate Reading List if you want to use a Reading List with no alterations for another course.
Duplicate a Reading List in order to reuse most of a Reading List for another course but make some alterations.
Roll over a Reading List to reuse and resubmit a Readling List for a new semester.
Associate a Reading List with multiple courses when you want to reuse the content without making any alterations.
Duplicate a Reading List to make a copy that you want to add or delete items from for another course.
Rolling over a Reading List allows you to reuse a Reading List from one semester to another. Due to copyright reasons, Reading Lists expire at the end of the semester the same way traditional course reserves do. Rolling over a Reading List resubmits the materials request to the Library, which then restarts the necessary processing.
Tags, permanent links, and public notes will copy over. Due dates and student discussions will reset.
Repeat steps Adding a Reading List to Canvas.
Instead of creating a new Reading List, click "Roll over."
