How to use Reading Lists by Leganto

Adding web resources to a Reading List

On this page, you will learn how to:

  • Add items from the web to your Reading List
  • Add your own files to your Reading List

Installing Cite It tool

The Cite It tool allows you to browse the web and pull resources into your reading list. This is useful for YouTube videos, blog posts, websites, new articles, and much more.

Cite It does not work with the Safari browser.

  1. If you have not already started a Reading List, revisit steps on Adding Georgia Tech Library resources
  2. Click your initials that indicate your account
  3. Select Cite It from the dropdown menu
  4. Drag the Cite It button to your bookmarks bar

Using the Cite It tool

If you are on a website such as YouTube and see something you want to add to your Reading List:

  1. Click Cite It in your bookmarks toolbar
  2. Add notes (if necessary) to the web resource you want to add to the reading list
  3. Select the course you want the item added to from the dropdown menu
  4. Select the section within the reading list you want the item added to from the dropdown menu
  5. Click save

The item should be immediately added to your Reading List.
