And, be sure to consider checking sources in the boxes on this page, especially HathiTrust. HathiTrust has many historical publications from the U.S. government, freely available. 

10/1/2025 - government shutdown. The Library subscribes to resources that have content from the U.S. government. Those resources, such as HeinOnline, Legislative & Executive Publications (ProQuest Congressional), SimplyAnalytics, PolicyMap , and Social Explorer -  will still be available to GT-affiliated users (including offsite), and to any users at the Library's visitor terminals.  Also, Internet Archive's Wayback Machine may be of use (it captures websites often).

In addition, the Georgia Tech Library is also a member of the TRAIL project (Technical Report Archive & Image Library) for digitization of federal technical reports. It has digitized about 100,000 reports that are available for free online. It has a search interface; most reports are included in the TRAIL collection of HathiTrust.
